This actually the seminar that I anticipated the most in EM-TECH since as I have said I would like to start a career on it. I am planning on training in the technical side of SAP and would like it to be on SAP ABAP. I already have plans on what company I will apply to which gives a good training in SAP. I have actually learned that it isn't really an emerging technology but rather emerging technologies are being applied to SAP. It was actually a shock on how SAP have already been in the IT field for over 40 years. I didn't think that it would be that old already. The reason why I am planning on starting a career on this is because of the demand on certified SAP developers and also the high pay for this kind of job. It is undeniable that money plays an important part in choosing a career. I would like a career that I am interested in and pays well and I think SAP is the one for me. Not only this but also since the training, as they have mentioned, only lasts for two months which for me is truly fast. I have truly enjoyed the seminar and it can be seen in the class that everyone was interested in SAP. Hopefully, I'll be a certified technical SAP developer like Richard in the near future.

EM-TECH Seminar Series #4 - Introduction to SAP
EM-TECH Seminar Series #3 - Media Asset Management Software
The third seminar is about Media Asset Management Software (MAMS) of GMA with Jay V. Fuentes. This type of software was actually the first time that I have heard about it. As discussed this type of software focuses on organizing the media records in their company into one whole storage system with a hi
can fit only about an hour of recording. I don't know if the speaker said the wrong thing but as I thought about it maybe that much space was needed for the high resolution copy of a show. The seminar was very detailed. I actually like how the speaker presented what where their objectives on making this software before it was approved by the management. You can really see how important this software was for their company because all their profit are stored here since all their recordings and media to be broadcasted are being organized by a single software.
I have never really thought about a TV station keeps their media files. Initially, I actually though that they have one big room full of tapes stored with the required temperature but since technology is really advancing and we can find such storage through technology, I guess this was really what was supposed to happen. What actually shocked me in the seminar was that it was mentioned that only GMA and ABS-CBN uses such software so I am a bit curios on how other stations keep their media recordings or if they keep it at all. All in all, I learned a lot from this seminar since this was a field in technology that I haven't heard about. It would have been better if we were able to navigate through the software as well so that we would see more of its features.
EM-TECH Seminar Series #2 - Android
The second seminar is about Android with Oliver Lester Berris. Android is something that is truly known in the IT field. Actually not only in the IT field, but actually among everyone because smart phones nowadays are offered in Android. I was actually very excited for this seminar due to not only the fact that it is a very interesting topic but also because I am an Android app developer too. I have learned how to develop Android applications last year and it certainly has an advantage among other platforms because it is open and easy to develop since tools are free. The seminar was very interesting because the speaker was actually very good at speaking with a good humor. The presentation was also very informative and full of interesting pictures that gets the audience's attention.
My favorite part in this seminar was the versions of Android. It was funny like the Kasuy version and the Koko Krunch. Also the discussion on how open platforms are really advantageous compared to others and as I have said since I am an Android developer myself, I truly appreciate open platforms. Android as we have discussed can be applied to different fields like Banking, Education, Productivity, Entertainment, and many more. This part of the discussion actually makes you realize why it is to be considered as an emerging technology in society today. All in all, I really loved the seminar and was very appreciative with the speaker.
EM-TECH Seminar Series #1 - Bioinformatics
I actually really didn't get a lot of concepts on technology during this seminar because it was more on the Biology side as I have said. And I am still doubtful if this can be considered as an emerging technology because throughout the whole discussion, my thoughts were that it was an emerging field that uses technology but it isn't really an emerging technology. Even though I have said all this, I have actually learned a lot of ideas on Biology and how people work around it in order to discover connections between biological materials.

MOBIDEV - Android Game Review
In this post, I will discuss what are the top three best and worst android applications that I have played. :)
Best Three:
1. Blast Monkey
Moki is the main character in this game. Moki is the monkey that for me is a glutton and really loves bananas. This game was made by Yobonja!. The gameplay is exciting because it contains different creative obstacles where you need to blast Moki and avoid the obstacles to get to the bananase. In each world, it consists 30 levels. In each level, you need to get the three bananas and reach the goal in order to get full points. This game for me is very addicting and fun. The graphics is also very good in every world. The concept of the whole game for me is awesome.
I've been playing this game for almost three months now and I still don't get tired of it because of the challenging levels that it has. Added to that, in order to open a new world, you just have to earn enough points from the other worlds, so as long you really love the game, you can easily open new worlds. I don't really like applications that are expensive and seems a bit too much to the quality of the application itself. Anyway, this game is the best game I have played.
2. NinJump
This is one of my favorite games in my android. NinJump, by Backflip Studios, is a very simple game but challenging. The goal of the user is to reach as high as you while killing the enemies and avoiding the other ninjas. You can also get bonuses by killing three enemies of the same kind consecutively. With just a simple tap, your ninja will be able to jump from the left wall to the other in order to be able to kill or avoid the obstacles.
I have been playing this game for almost a month now but I still don't get tired of it. Even though the goal of the game is very simple, it is very challenging and addicting especially when you want to beat your friend's score. In addition to awesome gameplay, the graphics of this game is also good. At times it can be very irritating when I die again and again, but the challenge keeps me playing this game.
3. Bunny Shooter
Bunny Shooter was developed by Best Cool Fun Games. The gameplay of this game is just like Angry Birds. You have to shoot the bunnies in the level using the arrows you are provided with. The lesser number of arrows you use, the higher the rating you can get. Just like NinJump, I like this game because it is challenging. It also makes you think on how you could use a lesser number of arrows within each stage. The graphics for me is also acceptable enough, it's not too grand but it's good.
I have already finished the first world of this game. This game is composed of 4 worlds and over a hundred levels. Though it may be really good, I think that children shouldn't play games like this cause this may influence them to be violent against animals like cute bunnies. Also, another downside to this game is that I think that the price of the game is too much. But in terms of the functionality of the game, I really liked it.
Worst Three:
What I will include in this part are the games which I find are very boring.
1. Move It!
Though it is a challenging game, I really don't like the graphics used for this game. I really love logic games but this game doesn't appeal to me because of its interface. The goal of the game is to bring the big square block to the highlighted position in the field. I could have loved this game if not for the too simple interface. These are merely my personal opinion. I still have it in my android but only because a friend of mine really enjoys playing this. I may be a bit harsh on this game but I believe that there are many more logic games which can exceed this one.
2. Basketball Shot
This game is similar to paper toss but it involves basketball. You have to shoot as many balls as you can, just like the basketball games we can find in arcades. One of the main reasons which I found this boring is that the game is very easy because you just have to slide the ball to the ring in order to score a point. The game for me is very easy even if there are stages where the ring would move from left to right.
